Vacuum hose routing and connection diagrams can be a real can of worms. Poison worms that bite. Back in the day of 'emissions carburetors' you had to have multiple, state-specific diagrams, and could have up to a half dozen for a given engine.
You might be able to get a replacement decal from the dealer as there was even a TSB / recall where new decals were provided by Ford because the originals started to diffuse to where they were illegible, so they were/are available in some cases.(Taurus/Sable late 1980's) They are generally mounted to the underside of the hood or to the radiator support.
Last resort is to go to a used car lot and take a picture of a proper vintage decal... Works for me.
