First off, i love this site. And appreciate all the ford brothers helping each other out. Hoooraaa.
I am wondering if having my exhaust cut off right about mid cab if this is causing a lack of back pressure for the turbo and robbing me of power. I dont have a muffler or cat conv. Just a short exh. Pipe. Dont seem to have much power from takeoff without dropping to first or second and flooring it... Thank you very much.
This question was just asked not too long ago and I'll repeat AFTER the turbo you DO NOT want any back pressure. The turbo takes care of any and all pressure it needs pre-exhaust. If you have a problem it's not because a lack of back pressure.
The only thing back pressure is good for is slowing you down!
Turbo drive pressure is another matter. That's the pressure between your cylinders and the turbo. The higher the pressure, the more boost pressure, generally.
