I just put Federal Couragia 285 75 19 A/T. They are 8 ply and their capacity suits my needs and weightrequirments fine

I'm running BF Goodrich All-Terrains in LT315/75R16 load range D. They ride noticeably nicer than the load range E tires they replaced, and I think they're still rated for more weight than my truck is.

Weird, I have cooper AT3's and I find them as a horrible tire in the winter ice conditions.... Super slick tire and seem to not self clean well. My old man is running the same set on his 1997 F-250 and he thinks they were the biggest waste of money as well. He loved his toyo tires though, managed to get 90k miles out of them! I normally buy cooper mud and snow but these came on the truck. I will be going back to the MUD and SNOW tires next winter. Oh the other thing I don't like is the AT3 is a noisy tire.

My experience with Cooper tires have all been positive. I ran their AT's, ATR's, AT3's, and their HT's on the front of my dually work trucks. I have also run their ST's, and my Dad ran their STT's on the back of his 2x4 pickup, and he loved them. It has been my experience the more aggressive the tread, the noisier they are.
According to their website, the AT3's rate better in snow than the STT's, but my Dad had no problem with them in snow.

I'm currently shopping tires AGAIN........18 months ago went back to stock size(235/85r16e) Cooper AT3"s. 99 F250 SD 4x4. 16,000 hwy. miles and they are DEAD. No trailers.....No off-road.....No burnouts. I'm 52 years old and drive like it. The tires were rotated at the shop where I bought them every oil change. Neither the dealer or Cooper will stand behind their CRAP tires......I'm done with both.
Getting a new set of Toyo's next week...............Japan can have my tire money. Made with pride in the USA doesn't mean SQUAT.

My last 2010 F-150 had Coopers and they were great, my wifes 2003 F-250 not so much. I think it is the weight of the truck or the the 20's my F-150 were built different than the 16's on my the F-250. Both were AT3's
My 2014 came with the Michelin ATX's and I took them off at 9k miles and put on Duratracs. Not enough miles on them to really give a good read out but they don't get stuck where the Michelins did.
As I get older I think tires are very subjective. For instance if I never left pavement the Michelins would still be on my truck and were a great tire, but I hit mud in my backyard and that was it. In hindsight I almost never took my F-150 into my yard, so the Coopers may not have done well there either.
My posts may not have been real helpful in this thread but I have bought a lot of tires. The worst out of the bunch were the Pirelli's on my 2010 FX4 and the Duelers on my Wifes 2015 Jeep Wrangler.
