Auto door lock question
99 F-250
I got out of my truck today while it was running to unhook my trailer. Immediately my door locks started opening closing real fast. They eventually stopped, but I could hear the relay still clicking. I tried to locate it but at the same time the bell/chime is going off. It only does it with the motor running. Now I can't use my sitches to lock/unlock the doors. If I step on the gas pedal slightly it stops. Sometimes I get no throttle response and the relay and chime keep going. I noticed a small micro switch that activates on the pedal and it seems to be possiblt the culprit because I can hold it on and off and sometimes it disengaes and sometimes not.
Anybody had this happen and have a solution?

Auto door lock question
The power door lock system is pretty simple meaning it doesn't go into the gem module...What you have is a bad sensitive switch i'm guessing... disregaurd all the other weird symptoms and look to a switch failure. See if a switch will activate with a light touch. Or maybe the connector is comming off one of them.....
Simple just have to look at switches and no where else..
Unless you have remote keyless entry then you could have problems.......Gem
