There are quite a few of each. The black (-) battery cable has a small branch to the core support (body) right off the battery clamp, then it goes down & bolts to the frame, but continues to the engine block (just in front of the engine mount). There's a smaller flat braided strap from the R plenum support to the R hood hinge, and probably another on the L side. Then there are several larger flat braided straps clipped from the frame to the body all over the truck. Usually one at the front of the R frame rail going to the bottom of the core support, another under the driver's door, and others.
thanks for the help, sounds like the one off the battery is the one i want. I ask because while i love bronco's i also love car stereo equpiment, and i am planing on upgrading the wiring, although it sounds like there are a few to many for me to cost effectivly tackle, so i will just replace the main one that goes to the battery. My system has a buzzing sound in it created from inproper grounding of the battery and body, im hoping that this will fix it, because other wise im gonna hafe to drill a hole in the floor of my trunk, not that great of an idea in salty ohio.
That's not the source of the buzzing - it's ignition interference: RFI. You need to shield the patch cables between the head unit & amp, and put a noise filter (or cap) on the amp power wire. There's nothing wrong with the stock ground wire, so don't waste the money or effort changing it out. As long as the terminals are clean & tight, your noise is coming from something else.
