fuel pump relay
1990 f150 xlt lariat-
fuel pump runs after turning of key occasionally. have replaced the relay switch under the hood twice! Any advice?
1990 xlt lariat 5.0 auto trans
1982 f100 stepside 3.8 manual 4speed o/d
2000 f150 xl 4.2 manual 5 speed

fuel pump relay
Are you sure it's the relay? And not a bad wire or connection somewhere? Did you also check out the eec power relay? (the other little one right next to the fuel pump relay) According to my Chiltons wire diagram, that one needs to be picked up to supply power to the fuel pump relay. I had the same prob on my 87 and it turned out to be the eec relay.
