Looking at mine (truck in my signature) I have the female part- the one on the shorter lead- but nothing nowhere near it to plug into it, it's hanging there empty. No aftermarket stereo stuff or anything. Being it's a Lariat/KR it has most of the options. There is a similar plug on the TPS (throttle pedal) with light blue wires but different color traces. Sorry I can't be more helpful
I'll take a closer look at the lead and post up the colors.
You say you have a similar female end with nothing to plug into it?
It just seems strange to me that it would be hanging there. If it were pto or another option yet to be used I would think it would be taped up out of the way a bit more. Almost looks to me to have been plugged in at one point then disconnected and left alone.
I think I've figured it out. The female end it just strapped to the harness there and has no leads connected to it. I am thinking that this wire and connector go to the manual clutch? Sine my truck is auto, the connection was run and they put a blank female end strapped to the harness to dead-end it.
Does that make any sense? Does no one else have this wire/connection?
Just finished the high idle mod with aux lifter switches and saw this connection unplugged. Does anyone what this is for?
Had my curiosity , so I went out and looked I have the late built 04 the only color coded wire that Match goes to the Brake switch There's no other connections hanging . and the switch is bolted to the arm above the petal same line as the plunger that goes through the fire wall to the Booster.
I've been curious about this myself since coming upon this thread for the last couple of days myself, enough so that I went out and looked inside my own truck (a 2007 F-250 6.0L CCSB 4x4). I think I have the answer you're looking for. My truck is equipped with power adjustable pedals. There are two wires involved in the motor circuit, coloured light blue with a black tracer and the other is a light blue with orange tracer. 99StrokeXLT, if you look more closely at that connector again, I believe those are the correct colours and hence, the answer to your question.
