2 Speed Axle
Can the 2 speed axle be placed in high gear permanently?The vacuum pod is still attached but there are no vacuum line attached. I only use my F6 Dump for pleasure so I don't need the lower gear.

Mine is missing the diapham assembly and is wired over to high which is the default i believe. The lever is wired closer to the jackpot for high. Just a warning though it wont seem like much different because of rear ratio my 1st ( Granny) gear is like 6 ft. before you shift.

When I first drove one of these old trucks with the two speed, I was cautioned to always have it in low range when I went into a tight spot where I might need all the power I could get. That said, for an unloaded truck, lock it in high range and enjoy it.
