2006 XLT 4WD Hesitant low gear engagement?

2006 EXPLORER NEED TRANS HELP?

2006 XLT 4WD V6 51,000 Miles. 5R55S?

The most noticeable shift problem is a rolling stop. It flairs or has a pause before engages first gear. If I start out from a dead stop it takes off fine.

Also has 2nd to 3rd harsh shift, but not all of the time

If I goose it, it seems to run out and shift okay in all gears.

I noticed yesterday in cruise, it stays in 4th a little to long after leveling off from a hill, like it doesn't want to shift back into OD right away.

All of this seems to be worse at temperature then when it is cold.

Here is what I have done:

Disconnected battery---No Change

Cleared codes with scanner---No Change

Dropped pan, clean, Replaced filter (OEM) 5 quarts Mercon V---Better for a while

Cleared PCM---Jumper-Positive to disconnected negative, 1 hour. Drove easy for a week.

No Change.

I don't know if I need to look for that valve body gasket deal or if it needs reprogramming. I only have a scanner / ABS reader (Actron C9580)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You
