Windshields
I swear I asked this before, but I can't seem to find the post. Maybe I am imagining things... 
Anyway... am I correct that the windshield from a Dentside will fit a Bumpside? Not asking about any of the rest of the glass. Just the windshield.

One of the junkyards here has a '76 with a good windshield, so I am going to go get it. Any tricks to removal?
Anyone want me to check for any other parts on it? It's not in great shape, but I am happy to take a look.

If the rubber is still soft all you need is a sharp knife. If it's old and brittle you may need to chisel it off. Once the rubber is off the front of it, it just pops out.

Its best if you buy a new windshield gasket seal. and not from LMC.
Many of LMC rubber products weather crack with in a few yrs.
Many guys who have bought the LMC windshield gaskets for the chrome trim cover it won't stay into the gaskets cut slits for the trim to seat..
Go to DC web site to order one as you don't want crack the used replacement one.
If you have a shop install it and it cracks to bad you loose, they our not reasonable for used ones.. Best to have some helpers push from the out side as your pulling the rope that's flipping the seal lip inside the metal edge of the window frame..
Soapy water helps also..

Yep, just like orich said. Put the seal on the glass and have a couple buddies push from the outside and help position it. Use a small rope, 1/4" max, put it around the frame slot on the seal. Then pull the rope around the edge and it should pull the rubber lips around. Lubrication is your friend in all this. Soapy water, wd40, whatever.

Anyone have any experience with the seals from NPD?
They are a good bit cheaper than the ones from Dennis Carpenter, but I don't want to be penny-wise and pound-foolish.

You might look at steele rubber. I have one from them. A friend of mine who restores (has them restored most likely) vehicles swears by Steele Rubber:
