I have a 99 Expedition and it is in great shape and I was thinking about putting in new headlights and taillights and I was looking for some recommendations. I am not at all mechanically inclined so I need something pretty plug and play. I like the smoke colored ones but the ones I have seen said you need to do some rewiring and that will just end badly with me blowing myself up. Any thoughts on this would be great. Just looking to freshen up the look a little.
Go to rock auto.com they have a whole selection to pick from, they are pretty much plug and play, tabs hold them in with a couple snap locks, you can handle that.
I got some really nice headlights from Sears. The have separate Low & High beam, and I have to say they make a WORLD of difference (the high beam is far superior). Super easy to install and seem to be really good quantity. They include a warranty as well. They also look OEM and give the front a nice refresh.
I just need to adjust them, but they are great lights. It took me about 45 mins total time. If I hadn't taken pics and been so gentle with the first light it would have been about 30-35 mins.
