I just got a 2012 F350 dually 4x4 6.7L powerstroke. And I have a 2004 Excursion 4x4 6.0L powerstoke. I know to expect a turbo lag but my 6.7 lag is waaaaay longer that my 6.0 is that normal? Both stock no up grades my excursion is sitting on 37" tires and pretty sure 0-60 would take the 6.7
The last 6.0 was tuned and would do very well, but it's somewhat like comparing apples and oranges imho...
Not that I care about comparing a 5 year old tiring Excursion I don't have anymore against a brand new all the bells and whistles Platinum...
but I got the vehicles for different jobs...
the Ex's hauled people, the SD's haul 5'ers
the @ 800 lbft torque @ 1600 rpm stock numbers are higher than the 700 tuned on the tuned excursion...
(Oh, and I don't compare my wives against each other - they both were fine at the time !!!)
