Remove oil pan
Can you do this when the engine is still in the vehicle for an 04 Navi?

Yes, but the steps can vary depending on if yours is 2wd or 4wd, 4.6L or 5.4L or 5.4L 4-valve engines.

Mine is 2wd and has the 5.4 DOHC.

I have not. I was thinking about adding a windage tray but will wait until I build another engine to put in

Won't help much unless you plan to go over 3500 RPMs consistently.

Not really unless I want to do 100 ft one wheel burnouts, lol.
