I have a 1988 F250 4x4.
The brakes need to be bled, but on the left front the bleeder valve is broken off. Is there any other way to bleed it without replacing the whole thing?
I would think the chance of getting air in the line after reconnecting would be too high to do it that way... but if you've heard of people doing it...
how about an EZ out made to get broken bolts out? Since the hole you would have to drill is very nearly already there in the bleeder bolt, it might work if you're careful.
And I guess that if you really wanted to save the caliper (it's probably about time to change it for a new one anyway), you could have someone drill and tap it for a new bleeder screw if they knew where to drill.

Thank you,for the advice.
We found out that the front bleeder valves are directly
connected to the pistons, in the front so the whole thing
will have to be replaced anyway.
