It is time to mod my pretty much stock 03. Currently it has 140K on it. The wife and I bought a 28 ft bumper pull camper and we want to take it about 5 hours from home and visit some family. I do the load leveling hitch and sway bar stuff but it towed very strange with this equipment hooked up. I would get a side to side pull everytime I would go over bump, I don't like it at all. I am planning on getting a set of rancho 9000 series shocks. Are air bag kits worth their money? I don't tow but may a dozen times a year, but when I do it is either this camper or about 12K in construction equipment. I am still running the original shocks so I know this will be a great improvement but I don't want to go overboard either. Does anyone else have 9000's and tow a bumper pull camper?

 

No bumper pull but I just got some 9000s and they made a noticeable difference
in the ride. With or without the 14K 5th wheel. Money well spent.
