Yes there is a stud on the frame side that has a large hole. We did wiggle it around and got the same result. The other side pulled flush with the bolt tightening.

As level as it's going to, my truck is sitting nose high since all of that weight is off of it. I remember it sat a little tilted before. My old motor mounts were broken soo I don't know how that was

Imma have my friend take some pictures of his truck tomorrow

Tightened the motor mount and now it's just barely not flush. The cross member is out and gonna be notched.

Everything else is going well and should be back in next trip up here!

Pics will follow!

I'd put a reflective wrap on that starter and cable from the beginning.
Might prolong the life of it.
It will definitely help with hot starts.

What's sticking through the floor to the right of the shifter?

The stock cable is two inches too short, I can unplug it from the ttb crossmember and it'll reach. I'm going to get a new cable and bring it around the back. But I will put a shield around it. I'm going to get it driveable and then trailer it down to my base and do little things like that cable, my skid plates, rear brakes, and some more painting. Also I might heat and bend my t case shift lever down some, that is in 2h the way it sits. also either custom shifter or something

It's really coming together now Dylan!

I bet it will be a lot easier to finish off the details when you don't have all those miles and only weekends to work on it.

Oh man I know! I'm so ready to have it down there. I'm gonna get it driveable enough to make it to my house, ten miles down the rd, and onto the trailer. Load up my new tires, load up my skid plates, and all my other fancy stuff that isn't necessary and then haul it down, drive it an hour or so every night and wrench in it everyday.

I'm not excited about my giant radiator however. My stock on is about a finger width. The new one, a 460 radiator, is about a hand width.

Also in the Carolinas, what is a good thermostat rating? My stock was 195, and the new one I have is 180.

I'm literally at the point where I can start putting it back together and I couldn't be happier. Hi got to a spot where I lost motivation and was getting aggravated, but now that the motor and stuff is together, it's like right here and annoying how close I am to driving it.

I really like a 195 stat. Ford spec'd them for every engine. The engines operate more efficiently at that temp and warm up more quickly than with a lower temp.
