Jag ifs
Looking at cutting out the mustang front suspension on my 48 F1 and replacing it with Jag ifs and more than likely use the irs as well I read it somewhere here what years are best Would a front and rear out of a 1976 XJ6 be ok to use ?

That would be a good year to use. But why? Is there something wrong with your current setup? The MII is a great design and works well for most street rod and early light trucks, like ours, if done right.

The engineer wants the whole mustang II cut out and all welds cleaned off and redone as when it was installed in the USA it was not the prettiest of jobs and whilst we were driving around over there we had to get the L/hand spring retainer re welded as it was starting to come apart also it had real bad bump steer which I don't if this is a common problem. And as I can get a 76 jag for free I was thinking it may be a better way to go
