Jack for 90 BII

the 90 BII XLT that I just got does not seem to have come with a jack for the spare. Where is the jack supposed to be stored and what kind of jack do I need?

There's supposed to be a screw-jack and lug wrench stored in a panel between the passenger seat and the rear seat. Slide the passenger seat forward and look for a little door on the passenger side wall just in front of the rear seat. The jack handle is a big long thing stored under the hood, running essentially just above the radiator the entire width of the hood.

If you don't have a jack, just go get a small bottle jack (hydraulic) and store it in the panel compartment. Make sure it's tall enough to work (or carry a chunk of 4x6 to raise it up).

I could never get the friggin' lug wrench in that panel, just the jack. I just keep the wrench in the back.

Mine was missing the jack & lugwrench when I got it along with that panel door (and the one that covers the fuse box). I carry a mini floor jack in the back along with a couple of short pieces of 4x4" treated lumber just in case. For a lug wrench I use a 1/2" drive breaker bar that's about 2 feet long with a 3/4" deepwell socket and short extension attached.

Beats me why some previous owner decided to keep the jack and lugwrench. But I did get an owners manual. For a 1988 Bronco II!

LOL, I got mine with original everything...

Owners Manual - 1987 Bronco II
4 Wheelin' with Ford 4 wheel drive guide
Maintenance Schedule - 1987 Bronco II
Ford Premium Stereo booklet

and more than double more booklets, plus the manual for the aftermarket radio that came with it... also came with receipts for replacement parts... new alternator, a couple of things for the A/C (can't remember what they were, like, the condenser or something and something else), aftermarket gauges (one of 'em was never hooked up... the battery gauge, lol, but I've never had a charging problem... remember, it has a new alternator!), and I think that was about it. I also have the inspection report from two inspections ago when I didn't even own it, plus the inspection I did in April.
