I installed the MidFifty, Short and Smooth, Small Block lowering springs today. Ended up raising my drivers side ride height by about 1/2" because the original spring was sagging so much. Passenger side dropped by 1-1/2 inches and now both side have the same ride height again...ya!
I need to get new shocks for the front now and the rear soon and am looking for recommendations from people who might have a similar setup. My truck is a 1955 F100 with 289 in it. I will be installing 3" lowering springs in the rear next week.
I measured from shock mount to shock mount on the front tonight after installing the new springs and it is 13-3/4 inches when the truck is sitting on level ground.
