Hello all.
I'm the proud 2nd owner of a 1986 F250 XLT Lariat 6.9L IDI 2WD Super-cab Dually LB 155 WB HD Special Order with 170k miles (272k kms) on it. I bought it in Dillwyn Virginia on Monday July 14 2014 and drove it back 700 miles (1120kms) 16 hours crabbing through 5 States, 3 major rain storms, Mountains, fog, and construction. Since back I have driven another 300 miles (480 kms) and loving every minute I'm on the road in it. I have been to 2 car shows and I'm the only one in the seventh gen. at those shows let alone a Dually, and now I'm getting ready for the Canadian Ford & Mercury Truck Nationals in Arthur Ontario Canada on August 16-17 2014.
Well I hope to have some fun, learn some tricks and meet some great people here on this site. Thanks for having me.
Dave

Thanks Torklift Sheryl, and greenarcher I'm glad to be here. I had a good night out at the weekly car show and driving, after picking her up from the shop today. I wanted to get rid of the crabbing so I gave some love and put a new steering box and alignment (got lucky cause the crabbing is gone and it could've been a couple of things doing it), changed the fluids and filters from the engine all the way back to the Dana rear end, and changed all the belts. A $1300 good start anyways I think. I have had more people come up to look at her but think cause of the dually rear end she is a F-350, so laughing I have to tell them NOPE she is a F-250 Special Order. I even had a guy come up tonight asking if I'd sell her to him for $7000.00. Of course I said no thanks I only bought her 3 weeks ago.
