I have seen that stuff before, mostly in photos... People ask "How did you find your spot in Baja"?... and I tell them, "Well I tied my snow shovel, to the front of my truck and drove South. When someone finally asked "What's That?", I bought a house"..

So we finally finished the driveway at 5 this evening. The road still isn't done. One plus, work is called for tomorrow.

Not working on the bed anytime soon.

At least the cab is coveted well.

Not the last time this truck will see snow.

Brrrrrrrrrr, makes my back ache just looking at all that white stuff.. Darn, I felt a shiver, and saw a few goose bumps on my arm.

I love snow but I am very tired of throwing it around now.

So most of our snow is gone and today is supposed to be rainy. I did get the cars out of the garage so I can get back to it. When I mounted the frame to the engine stands I realized that they are tilled back. This is making it all but impossible to spin the frame 360 degrees. Tonight I am going to see if I can remedy that with some Yankee ingenuity. I am going to space the rear wheels so that the head is straight.

Quick drawing showing what is going on.

Hope it works amigo, and even if Phil the groundhog did not see his shadow... you will get more snow, according to AccuWeather ... which is a little more science based than a ground hog.. or maybe not... anyway, I would not put away your snow shovel just yet..

Added a block of wood and now this one should spin.

Now on the the one at the rear.

Break out that snow shovel amigo... cool and windy here in Granbury, Texas, but no snow... thankfully. BTW, picked up a 2007 Mercedes Benz GL 320 Diesel SUV yesterday.. FO was a 73 year old guy, and must have been having a senior moment, as he gave it to me for way under blue book.. I almost feel bad about sleeping so well last night... Like a space capsule inside, with all the controls... More air bags than a lunar lander.. I feel like Jed Clampett at the world trade center... "Shucks Granny, what are all these gadgets for"? After one day, it is definitely my wife's ride.. I'd rather drive a truck.. like Ricky Nelson sang way back when... One saving grace, its a 4x4..

Got out this weekend and removed the rear spring hangers.

Spring mocked up in place.

Front spring hanger from two wheel drive f250.

Original front hanger moved to rear to flip.

This dropped the spring just over 4" so I can eliminate the 4" block and reduce wheel hope.

I hate spell check, it is wheel hop.

I still have to look at the centerline of the axle. Right now it is shifted forward about 2". Once I get that figured out, I will weld up any oringinal holes I'm not using.

I have that same exact floor jack. I lifted many things over the past couple years with it. Is the 2wd front spring hanger longer then the 4x4 one that you swapped it out with? Good thing you got the lift blocks out. I like running all leaf spring lifts and help eliminate axle wrap.
