Door Handle Install

Guys,

*****I am new here******

Please don't destroy me if I am posting this in the wrong section or if this has been covered in previous posts/threads!

How hard is it to install a new set of door handles? I have a 2011 F350 CC, and I was too broke to get the lariat, so I bought the XLT (with the black door handles). I want to upgrade the door handles, but before I do, I just wanted to know how hard it is to do and what tools I may need to complete the job, and any helpful hints you may have for me.

When you have the door handles out of the truck, or the new ones, can you take a pic of the back side? I want to know what that metal rod looks like that the handle pivots on. Mine is showing rust on the bottom gap between the door handle and the surround. Wondered if it was possible to disassemble it and replace it with stainless rod.

Just an FYI, the painted handles more easily scratched from finger nails and rings. Some people may not be aware of this, but you can also put a clear-bra type product over them and that will help keep them looking good. Without it, I was longing for the plain black versions.
