Another Air Lift Question
I'm looking at two different kits for my Ex.
AIR LIFT 57132 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit
Firestone Ride Rite Kit W217602255 for Ford Excursion 2WD
Both are for the 2 wheel drive. Only the Firestone kit says it will fit my 05. The Air Lift kit fits up to the 04.
Is there a difference between the frame or axel between 04 and 05?
Is there an opinion between the two kits?

Nope, same throughout the entire production run of 99-05. The Ex gets a lot of parts listed incorrectly due to it's cousin the SuperDuty truck getting a major suspension and gas motor update in '05, the '05 Exs are identical to the '04 except for the newer style front bumper and grille, our suspensions (and gas motors) stayed the same in '05 when the trucks changed. Ford knew it was going away and didn't spend the money to make the updates on a lame duck.
