Nope, same throughout the entire production run of 99-05. The Ex gets a lot of parts listed incorrectly due to it's cousin the SuperDuty truck getting a major suspension and gas motor update in '05, the '05 Exs are identical to the '04 except for the newer style front bumper and grille, our suspensions (and gas motors) stayed the same in '05 when the trucks changed. Ford knew it was going away and didn't spend the money to make the updates on a lame duck.
