Thanks to the posts here, I have managed to remove my faulty wiper motor and am trying to install the new one. I have run into a bit of a problem.
After removing the clip, the left and right linkage arms slid right off the old motor. The passenger side arm slid onto the new motor arm without issue. However, the driver's side arm refuses to go on. I am able to slide it on about 1/8" only. The pivot post looks the same size. I will measure it with a caliper this afternoon. I don't see any obstructions or problems in the bushing on the linkage.
Has anyone had this issue before? Any suggestions?
