Checking in.. and new toy in the collection

Haven't been on in a while, but still working on my 52 F-3, but also managed to score a 48 F-1.

Basically got a body shell and frame, I've also drug home 59-60' 292/312 that I found in a 56 F-350 out in the back of a farm field =) Think it will be a good start for my next project =)

Looks like a nice start to a project. I thought it was slammed already in the first pic. My eyes must be tired, along with the rest of me. Wish I could find a nice cab around here like that one you got there. So what are your plans for it?

I'm thinking I'll go a similar route like I'm doing on my 52 F-3 in converting to 4x4. Im hoping to use the Y-block with the T-98 tranny, use a divorced t-case, narrow a Dana 44 to fit up front, and a Ford 9" for the rear. I'll keep the stock suspension and keep the body and interior as original as possible. Well see how it goes, but I already have a good start.

Jon,

Good to hear from you. I see you are expanding your horizons and adding my projects to the pile. I like your plans for the new truck(s)
