Engine compartment measurement ?
I need the clearance from the valve cover to the hood on a 73-79 Ford truck, 2WD with a 240/300?
I am working on a semi custom intake and want to know. My engine is at the machine shop, or I'd do it myself
If anyone has the later model 300 EFI I could also use the measurement from your valve cover to the top of the upper "intake box"

Engine compartment measurement ?
I went out this morning and took a measurment from the valve cover to the center support rib, and it was 7.5 inches. the truck is a 1975 f100 2wd 300 with a auto trans. If you need anything else i'll be glad to try and help, while I still have the truck.
