I just got this app and will be getting the adapter--I suppose from ebay as it doesn't appear that any place local has them. So what is the best use for Torque Pro? I have the scangauge already--will the TP show the same data or is it best to be used to pull codes?
Maybe I did something wrong, but Torque wouldn't pull EOT at all and TFT was incorrect. There might something to make it work, but it's pretty much the same thing as SGII.
you can get a few more gauges on torque pro, one being a Delta gauge....which is nice since you just have to look at it and know instantly what your coolant an oil temperature difference is

with the TP do you have to program the gauges or will they pull up on their own? I tried messing with it but can't get to anything without it being hooked up. Is it a pretty good code reader also?

Only gauge I had to manually program was the delta gauge.
It's a better code reader than the Scanguage. ( which I own as well)
The beauty of torque pro has already been stated but, I'll add that having the delta formula plugged in and the ability to watch as many as you'd like at one time is fantastic. The price is right as well.
Thats what I was thinking too. Fell out of the boat last Saturday and killed my phone. They had a deal when I got my galaxy s5 I got a galaxy tab3 for .99
