1962 F100 Engine Replacement Question

Building my 62 and want to replace the 223 6-cyl with a small V-8. I know I need new motor mounts and possibly a new trans cross member. Anything else I need to be looking at?

Some additional items that come to mind include shift/clutch linkage, exhaust (& hangers), throttle linkage, radiator/hoses and perhaps tweaks to the wiring harness.

It is a frame off resto so the wiring will have a new harness, exhaust new, hoses new so it should be just the mechanical items. Thanks for the input.
