front diff fluid
hi I am putting H6 's in my 83 bronco and wondered if there is any easy way to change the fluid in the front diff. I plan on mudding alot with the truck and would like to be able to change the oil in there. a buddy said to just loosen the casing bolts and let it leak and refill, but does that mean I need a special gasket ect.? any help would be appreciated.

If you let it leak and DON'T reseal it properly with silicone, it WILL continue to leak. But I mudded mine for several years in Louisiana's gumbo and drove back & forth across the country for a few years, and when I finally drained mine, the oil looked new. As long as you keep the vent hose connected and routed up above the soup, you shouldn't have to worry about it.
