Tedster might be right.... When I was at Ford, we were putting the dielectric grease on the tip of the rotor, not the whole inside. I remember we could test to see if this was the problem with a shot of WD40 inside the cap.
OK Fellas, thank you all for the great feedback, I got her purring like a kitten. I'm going to blame it on the fact that I had forgot to remove a pair of tiewraps I used to bundle the sparkplug wires together up out of the way of the Antlers (Rams Horns) maniforlds I had installed about a month ago. I did put some dielectric on the coil wire boot on the cap. I think I need a better set of wires as mine are just cheap stock replacements.
I find it funny to see you pushing in the choke. I was too young to remember that on my dads truck, but I somehow remember driving in my uncles truck & watching him do that.

Ya, I have no problem using a Manual choke, I'm very happy to say by-by to the point though.
