Haha yeah I should have put what LOL ....I meant to put the back of the truck....I got 29 inches in the front with a 2/4 drop the reason I was wanting to know is because they offer a flip kit for these trucks so I can run all leaf springs but it says for a 5 inch drop in the back and I know these trucks sit up pretty high in the rear anyway, so I was thinking 5 inches might be perfect. I got 29 1/2 inches in the back with 2 leaf springs taken out it is really not a stiff ride. The pic at the bottom is with one leaf taken out to make it level, no drop in the front. I should have measured it all before I started lowering it

Mike, Love your truck you have done a great job with it. I have got a 1996 eddie bauer, 2wd, 5spd, short bed. It has got a 300 Inline six under the hood. I believe that I have red about your truck in the galleries and if I remember right you also have a 300. I may be wrong, however, if I am not I have a ques for you. I see that you have had exhaust work done, would you mind very much telling me what you have done and letting me know about the performance and the sound. I am looking to have my exhaust done over the next week and just curious on what to do.
Hey Derek thanks man I appreciate it....Yes I do have the 300 I-6, I noticed a pretty good pickup with exhaust...I have a regular turbo muffler single inlet dual outlet with 2 and 1/2 inch pipe out infront of the back tire with rectangle tips. I also have one cat off thats the only way I could get it in front of the back tire. I get 20 miles to the gallon on the road with exhaust and drop in K and N filter. If you would like to hear it I have a mpeg off a digital camera with a stand still rev up and a drive by with me getting on it in 2nd gear if you would like to hear please let me know and ill try and get it to ya.
Hey there mike, ya that would be great. I would love to hear it. I am just scared of putting something on there that isnt going to sound good. this is my first 6cyl, so I really dont know what would make a great sound. Also do your rims get any kind of yellow/black timt to them with your exhaust being right in front of them. The only reason I ask is because I really like your set up. Anyway, however you can get that mpeg to me it will be much appreciated.
