Hope you were not taking my statement as a personal attack, people here seem to get their dander up in a hurry about somethings, and I just do not understand the drama. I mean, we are for the most part grown adults, and some part of all of us is the same in the fact that we bought and enjoy our Excursions. I understand that we are all individuals, and we have opinions, which will differ, I just don't understand the negativity.

Stewart, I am trying to act as a voice of reason, and I would try to get this thread back on topic, but all i have had recently are good comments about my Excursion! 
Maybe just scrub the heck out of this one and try to see if it can get back onto the rails...

Stewart I apologize in advance but to clarify what I mean. Brent has got all bent out of shape in other threads about my opinion and we sent a few PM's back and forth and I thought we were ok via comments to one another in a different thread and figured I would shot a friendly note before I seen this mess that put me over the top with angry man Brent. We do waste gas in the long run but some truck has to be the biggest one. Also you could say that about anything bigger than a Honda Civic. People don't buy these normally to putt around by themselves. I carry things in mine and have slept in it many times.

Look, can we not all just agree... that the 5.4 is the powerhouse motor that you all lust after? I have it and you guys don't, stop the damn squabbling! 1 swaybar, 40 swaybars, 40 AXLES IT DOESN'T MATTER, NOTHING CAN CONTAIN THE MASSIVE POWER OF THE TRITON!!!!! I lose traction in Park for Christ sakes! I wake the neighbors in the morning with that low rumble before the key hits the ignition! My truck never goes through the mud, it parts that crap like Moses in the Red Sea!
