I have ran a super 44 and a super 10 by flowmaster and i was pleased with the super 10 at first but now it just sounds horrible. So much drone it just gives a wierd hollow sound at 2k to 2500 and i hate it. I have it behind a magnaflow high flow cat. Any body ran anything that they have liked? I was looking at a magnapack or xr-1. I would even be ok with getting a quiter muffler and removing my magnaflow cat because that thing stinks all the time like rotten eggs. and its not plugged because i have checked it. I dont really want a quiter muffler but one that doesnt sound so hollow. Also i just rebuild my motor by myself besides the machine shop work so if anyone has any questions about the process let me know.

buddy of mine just put a Borla XR-1 on his 3v 4.6 and it sounds awesome. i had a Magnaflow XL series on my 5.4, it was ok.. was a chambered muffler like a Flowmaster (i much prefer the smoothness of a straight-through).

Im thinking of going catless with some type of borla that is if its to quite with the borla. ive heard that the borla xr1 is quiter that a flowmaster super 10. i want it to be a little louder haha. but i also want it louder with less wierd done.
