Hood ornament...
Ok...before you start, this must might be one of the silliest posts on here in a while. I know that.
On our 86 F 350, inside the console, was the missing part of the hood ornament, which is a tipping cowboy hat. To keep peace, I need to know if there is any way to replace this? It's broken off from the base, and is white metal. I wouldn't even know where to start.

A neighbor said that superglue wouldn't hold, because it was "pot metal"...said the only thing he knew of that might hold it was epoxy...
That's why I figured it might be easier to just replace the damned thing. Never figured it would be this hard to find.

the base is still on the hood. and it's a pretty clean fit, actually. I'll pick some up on the way home and go from there...
was hoping the the things were still made somewhere?
the truck has a big "River Oaks" emblem on each side on the front fender, just in front of the door seem.
Think this is something they added?
