Got the mirrors installed yesterday. Install was easy and quicker than I expected! I had watched the video but forgot how easy the door panels came off. I was expecting to deal with those plastic "push rivet" things but nope, pull a couple of screws and the door panel just lifts up, sweet!

For those who may be unclear still, they are heated, power adjusting mirrors. The smaller parabolic mirror on the bottom is manual. They are not power fold or power extend/retract. The supplied marker lens is clear but the installed bulbs are yellow. Yellow lenses are available and it also comes with a chrome and a paint to match top cap.

Here's what got me off my **** about changing them out. When I got the truck it had this big scratch on the driver side mirror. I saw It every time I looked at the truck.

Then, to make matters worse I broke the marker lens on the garage door frame a couple months ago (the truck just barely fits if I swing one mirror in):

Also, I didn't notice before but the driver side mirror also didn't have the little symbol to indicate it was heated or whatever, so maybe it had been replaced before. Anyway,,

Before:

And after:

I installed the Crome caps and left the white lenses on for now, I'll get the PTM caps painted and swap for the yellow lenses later but it does look pretty sweet like it is now.
I haven't towed with them yet but I can tell already it's going to be an improvement. Quality looked good, price was great, shipping was quick. I can easily recommend getting a set of these if your thinking about upgrading. Thanks again to Anthony and Julie at Super Duty Service!

I got mine installed also. Install was simple and the improved vision is incredible. Only thing I noticed while installing was that the wiring didn't have black tape all the way up to the plug and the untaped wires were rubbing the metal hole they fit through. I simply finish with electrical tape just in case those wires would rub. Probably never an issue but I taped them anyway and I know it won't be a problem.

Thread resurrection! I've been off the forum for awhile as my pickup has been pretty much finished/reliable for quite sometime until I saw a video the other day. I'm curious why you guys installed these mirrors if you did't get the power-extend or the power-fold functions? I tow a travel trailer and getting out to slide the passenger side mirror is getting annoying.... that's why I am interested in this feature.

My pickup already has heated power adjustable mirrors, I want the power extend function. Does anyone sell a kit with this feature?

I purely got them for the dramatic change in the view coverage compared to the stock lower mirror. I have a dually and always leave them out to see past the hips so power slide wasn't important. I've also installed them on 3 other trucks and an Excursion and never had any complaints. I get mine from an Ebay vendor for about $139.
Now they do offer the power slide function but you would have to wire them in and install a switch.
