f350 donor truck?

What would you want to show me?

The utility body doesn't have a LS rear and it likely won't fit under your truck.
137" WB just doesn't seem right for a regular cab pickup.
Talk to Brad.
I'm sure he could set you straight on how these things came.

brads finally awake!
and he delivers bad news...aha
it seems odd that they would do different axle perches on the trucks, wouldnt it be easier to do different shackle mounts and use the same axles throughout the entire line up?
thanks guys!
EDIT: 4x4 duallys through what year? incase i find another, or did it change with the body style?

1. SRW
2. DRW pickup
3. DRW cab-n-chassis
They did the 3 different axles for good reasons.
C-n-c frame is a industry standard @ 34" for the aftermarket body companies.
Then the axle is also narrower to keep the tires under the said bodies.
Axle perches are narrower to be able to fit the dual tires.
The 2.5" springs are used because the tire to frame space was minimal.
DRW pickup axles are the widest. they are 6" wider than a SRW axle.
They needed to do this because of the 36" frame with and the pickup 3" springs.
From 80-97 the ONLY way to get a 4wd dually from FORD was as a cab-n-chassis. If you have ever seen a 4wd dually pickup, it was converted.
Just like the one I built

so i found a set of 06 f350 axles for way cheaper then just a dana 60 front 90k on them.
i know that is disc brake territory, which would mean id need a different proportioning valve since mine is a disc/drum. would i have to switch to hydroboost to get enough pressure for disk all the way around?
would i even be able to use them? perches and ujoint and such

I don't know anything about rear disc conversions or whether those perches might fit your frame.
Pressure shouldn't be an issue as much as volume, I would think.
U-joints shouldn't be any problem.
Ford used many conversion (b astard) U-joints over the years.
That word seems to hit the language filters, but that is what to ask for at a driveline shop.

i was looking at that dually because it would be a good truck after i stole the axles.
yes it is, the junkyards are terrible, once a truck goes there, they set them on axles in mud and bent the heck out of the brakes, forklift them around they become useless and are picked apart immediately.
im really looking for that f350 351 5speed, but i haven't seen one yet, not even for 5k+
im willing to travel, i dont mind, ive searched all of the east coast, but i either get a f350 or a manual, not both.
id be fine with newer axles and running an adapter since my tires currently rub on my leave springs up front, and im not sure a lift would fix that? ive been told to put it on jacks and test my left to right turn radius but i havent gotten around to it yet.
ive even got a buddy in michigan looking for me but no luck. id think they would be an old rusted plow truck or something ya know?

06 axle are coil spring front, so you would need coil springs, coil spring buckets, radius arms, radius arm mounts, track bar and some sort of track bar
06 rear axle. it is pretty much a direct bolt in with some new u-bolts. Then you need to adapt the 86 e-brake cables to the 06 axle.
The 99+ trucks use a metric 8 lug pattern 8 on 170mm. 05+ trucks use 17" wheels.
ALOT of work to use those axle
If you REALLY want a good donor truck, PM me. My brother has a 93/93 f350 PICKUP 460, 5speed, 4wd with a Meyers 8' plow he wants 3k for. And it is in pretty good shape. The bed is ROT FREE. He also has a ZF5 from a small block
