Hey there, Expedition/Navigator's are basically same thing. So I thought maybe someone here can give me a clue.
My mom's 98 Navigator won't start. I tried to boost it, nothing. You put the cables on, and it doesn't even spark or anything. You turn the key, and all the lights just go off, then they flick back on. It doesn't even click when you try to turn it over. It only has like 70k KM on it. Also when the key was out, there was some clicking goin on under the dash somewhere....
Check the primary battery fuses. They are mounted in a box on the pass. side of the firewall. The cover snaps off, and you will see 2 small black plastic covers on the fuses. Pull them off, and check there. Also look at the large megafuses in the engines main fusebox on the drivers' side......
Yeah I saw those....I guess just check continuity? It's raining pretty good here, and it's at the shopping mall....And I'm leaving town tomorrow. So I guess the dealership will take care of it...

You can check continuity, but pull the fuse out first. Otherwise, you could get a false closed reading.
