It's a grey area but the general answer is yes it will void your warranty. Even bringing it back to stock before taking it In. Tuners leave a signature behind, and they can always tell.

Ive been doing some research and i heard that they could void factory warranty. Im going to get one when my warranty is up and thats 1 or 2 years off.

They don't void your warranty. But if something breaks that's attributable to the tuner, then they have a case to deny your claim, and it's not unusual for dealers to play that card. The cool thing is that most of what breaks will be deleted anyway...
