i want to start to learn how to work on my truck, or anyones car really. im 24 and live in texas. im tired of getting ripped off by mechanics, so i want to do everything on my own and help others as well. any help is very appreciated. i have a 2007 f150 stx 4.2 in black.
Welcome! You've come to the right place -- this forum will be an amazing resource for you. With your current truck, do you often use it for towing or hauling?

i haul my kayaks everywhere, i try not to do to much towing. i had an accident and forgot to lock the hatch down on the hitch, but luckily put the safety chains on and that saved my truck. but hey im more experienced with towing now haha...

Oh my! Kayaking is a lot of fun.. the accident, not so much! If you're ever experiencing poor handling from heavier loads, you might take a look at Torklift's StableLoad suspension upgrade. When you're loaded it will help level the truck and really reduce side-to-side sway/poor handling. Enjoy the forum!
