Morning all.

short rain with some thunder and lightning. No damage here, but I heard that a tree fell during the storm in Newtown. I wondering if they are going to go for legislation to chop down all trees in Connecticut.

Put in a new thermostat in the camper under warranty. It was hot in the camper this past weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day today.

How do you like the Autoshift trucks? I drove one once, but it was a '99 Freightshaker century class that had a conventional clutch pedal. Never got used to it, but I never drove it that long either. I've heard most of the newer ones are pretty good.

Good morning all.

Looks like a beautiful day out there. Got to load up the truck for the weekend camping and this week we are having an Italian food event where we all bring a dish for Saturday night diner. I'm bringing an antipasti platter.

Getting everything set for my trip to Anaheim, CA. in Sept. Reservations are all set, now have to set up a rent car. We will be driving from Anaheim to Los Vegas. Most company's boost their rates when going to another state. Enterprise doesn't. We will go with them. Now to find a descent place to pick one up at.

I have always had good luck with Enterprise for renting cars/trucks. Hertz on the other hand, were nothing but nightmares. All just to save a couple bucks. Not worth it to me.

So far Tom I like it, these don't have a clutch pedal just like a car. The fleet at M&M is relatively new, the oldest truck is an '09. Mostly Macks and the autos are 12 speed trannys.
