I went to look at a 06 f-350 6.0 an next thing I knew bam I done signed all the papers an had keys in my hand. I still have my 97 but that's going up for sale. It was just to good to pass up everything I wanted on a all stock truck that I can make my own an know it's right.
Wanted to say thanks for all the help you guys gave me over the past 3 years I've owned the 7.3.
Great looking truck! At least it's still a ford. Lol. I drive a 6.0 everyday at work and it has 187k on it. Runs strong as hell. I hope yours treats you well.
Only thing you need to apologize for is not giving me your 97 for $500! LOL
Thats a great truck man and the 6.0 don't deserve AS bad of a rep as they have. Heck diesel power did a comparison to the dodge/chevy diesels of the same era and it was cheaper to build a 6.0 to 500hp reliably than the other two.
It all came down to the transmission. The 6.0 trans is a tank.
Congrats again! come back n say hey every now n then.
Sharp truck! If that's what you wanted, then good for you. Like Glenn said spend a few grand and they can be awful reliable. A lot of us spend a lot more than that for the power in our trucks!
