Is it totaled?

Came home to this sight this morning. 2011 F150, 25,000 miles. Frames pretty tough on these?

Darned willow trees.....

So sorry to see this. I guess the insurance adjuster will have to figure that one out and plan to pay for a huge repair or the value.

Frame condition is not the only criteria for totalling in most cases. I know, from experience, that in Texas if the damage is >80% of what it would cost to replace it then it's totaled.

Makes me ill to see that. Sorry, man

It has the 5.0, been averaging around 17 or so MPG. Don't drive it much, mostly out of town trips.
Driving it even less now.....

No idea whether it's totaled or not, but I am about in years looking at that picture. I hope you get her fixed up or replaced soon.

From what I can see, it was just the bed that was damaged. Didn't even blow a tire. Once they pull it off they can measure and see if there was frame damage. I'd suspect that if your frame checks out OK; then the insurance company will want to fix it with a replacement bed, bumper, and tailgate, and being a 2011 model, probably not with new parts at that. Good luck, hope they treat you fairly.

I think it is a loss, looks like the bed came in contact with the cab at the lower front. I'd be surprised if the frame isn't tweaked.

I'd guess that it's a total loss. The bed will need to be completely replaced, and likely the frame depending on how much damage it sustained. That requires completely disassembling the truck to do and isn't cheap.
