Door Removal

Hey All,
Has anyone taken off their doors? I have seen pictures of rock crawlers that only had the body, no top, no doors. I wouldnt mine seeing how it looks on a normal Bronco, I am guessing it looks kinda weird.

Door Removal

it's not hard, there are three 1/2" bolts that hold the hinges on the body just simple use a small rachet to take them out

Door Removal

If you have power doors, you have to pull the kick panels to disconnect the wiring, and if you intend to drive on-road like that, you'd better figure out a way to mount at least a driver's side-view mirror. If you try it on a '92-96 truck, the driver's door wiring runs ALL the way across the top of the firewall to the passenger's kick.

And it's almost impossible to get to all 6 of the hinge bolts with the fender installed. It's a little easier to get to the 4 on the front edge of the door.

I've seen a few Broncos without their doors. They look rather silly. It's not like pulling the doors from a Wrangler.
