2011 expedition remote start installation
Hello all, I just received an oem remote start p/N AL1Z-19G364-A. It is supposed to be a plug and play remote start kit, so I figured it would come with installation instructions and it doesn't. I have looked all over for them. Does anyone know where I can get them? I understand that once it is installed I will probably need to take it to the dealer to have it programmed. Thanks in advance. By the way none of the remote starts for the Expy are truly "Plug n Play". Some wiring is always needed.
Did you get the SecuriLock kit with it? It is required on the Expys.
No dealer programming is needed.

Matt, I couldn't send a pm so I just posted a message to your profile page. I figured there would be some wiring involved which is no problem. I thought there would have been instructions with it. I'm glad there are people like you out there that can help.

Thanks for sending that to me. The install was pretty easy. The only problem I had was getting three beeps when I tried to start it. I didn't have any doors open but realized after a little bit that I accidently turned on the dome light which caused it not to start. Works great now. It will be very useful this summer in Phoenix.

This is the same kit that I am looking to get. I saw that you mentioned trying to figure out where the pats interface went, but did it come included in the kit you got p/n: AL1Z-19G364-A?

Just got my kit in today. It does indeed come with the pats interface. Got it installed in about 1hr including the open door shut down reprogram. Thanks all for the help. It was such an easy install, I'm glad that I told the dealer no thanks and did this myself.

Just installed on 2012 and alarm goes off when supposed to start...
Hello I Just installed a AL1Z-19G364-A on a 2012 with SYNC, and programmed keyfob and the alarm goes off when i lock the truck and trigger the remote start... HELP... Is there something I'm missing? Please PM me the instructions if there is any. THANKS A Bunch!
