Hi all. I'm a long time poster in the gen 9 forum and recently started posting in the super duty forum. This is my first post in the towing/trailer forum.
I ordered a couple towing/cluster hooks through my work a while back, and they ended up selling me the wrong ones. We now have both sets here and I'm wondering which set I would be better off with.
These are the ones I originally wanted because I thought they were less sloppy looking, and the large loop they are on fits some of my larger clevises.
These are the ones they got instead, they are spread out over a couple links. I don't see any advantage to this style, but it seems that this is the more common setup. Is there a reason that this is the more popular style? Some advantage to doing it this way that I am missing?
