Just got back from Gulf Shores today and unhooked the camper and the truck has not started since. On the way home the a/c quit. I think it actually froze up because after the truck had set a little while water was dripping in the passenger side floor board. Went to move the truck and no start. Starter just spins and nothing happens. Can't hear the low pressure fuel pump buzzing like normal. Hoping for the best. I can't be with out my truck for long because of work. Hope that Ford stands behind the warranty I paid extra for.

How many miles are on your truck, myred1? Did you get it towed to the dealer? Keep us updated on any news you have.
Service writer said probably a oxygen sensor but they have not looked at the truck yet. Does that sound like a probable cause to you guys? There was no check engine light or bad running just went out to start the truck and it would not start. I don't have the fancy message center just the standard one.

Thanks for updating us, myred1. If you need my help after getting a diagnosis, PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll check out some options.

I wonder what the condition of the batteries is? Sounds like maybe one of the batteries has taken a dump. While I am not sure of the late model configurations, the older trucks you needed to disconnect one of the battery cables in order to isolate them for testing..

I would not think it's the batteries. Just drove it 400 miles that day. Parked the truck and 5 minutes later it would not start. Starter spins away but nothing else happens. But who knows with these complicated trucks?

It only takes a moment for a battery to either short out or have a cell connector break and go to an open circuit. Your problems sure sound electrical in nature..
Batteries and fuses are both items that fail regularly..

Good luck with your truck!!
Could be, I don't know. Hope it don't take long to track down. What ever it was sure seemed like a sudden event.
Well the truck is running again. Some how the inertia switch was tripped. Still working to figure out why the a/c froze up and dripped condesation into the passenger side floor board. The inertia switch is on that side also but they said it was to high up to be effected by the condesation?

Wow - I would have not suspected that! Normally it take a really hard jolt to trip those... Glad you are back on the road!
