Chrome Bumper Buckling?
But I finally have my own question.
I was involved in a traffic accident -

You can follow the story yourself to see the hell this has put me through, but I basically have everything fixed now, except for my front bumper. Both the body shop and insurance company (who both hate me now =]) agree that it took an impact but the insurance company says that the bumper was involved in another wreck and that they weren't required to replace the bumper. I told them I didn't need a new one, just one that matched my other one.
Basically what i need from you guys is, is a buckled bumper on the big chrome bumpers on ford F-series a common problem? I have about 10 pictures of different fords with the same problem my truck has but the insurance still isn't buying it. If I could get some people with personal experience of them, maybe that will be enough.
Again, thanks for providing this forum.

Your story seems all to familar, it seems there are garages/body shops like this in every part of the country.
It is too bad, there are some really good shops out there, but these few bad ones give all shops/garages a bad reputation.
The bumpers, as you probably know, arn't the strongest. I would continue to keep harping the insurance/body shop. But if they don't give you one, you can get a straight bumper practically anywhere. I bought a re-chromed for my 1989 F-150 for $250 and it was completely straight and even had new plastic moldings.
