need help 1989 Ford Ranger
I need help finding a diagram or an explanation for the proper pulley alignment for the engine timing of a 1989 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3L 4 cyl engine, 2 wheel dr, manual transmission, no AC, fuel injected truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have the Number 1 Cylinder at TOP DEAD CENTER.
Turn the other pulley, it'll have a mark on it and match it to the mark on the block. Put the belt on. Have Fun and good luck....
Head to your local library and check out a repair manual or two. They're free.
