I got a quote from Line-X in Odessa of $439 for my SB in black. Additional $300 for color matching. I'm going with black as it will be under a tonneau cover most of the time.
I have had Line-X in ever truck I've owned, but opted for the factory spray-in this time; we will see how it holds up. The Line-ax was great, but I did have some areas come up when carrying some big AC units. Try not to drag heavy shared corner items across it, but then again, it's a lifetime spray warranty. It's just a pain in your schedule to get in and get it touched up.
If they would actually apply the coating 1/4" thick, I would feel more confident in its ability to protect the bed. Most applications that I have seen are not much more than a paint coating. You don't necessarily need it that thick on the sides, just the floor and wheel wells.
I actually had the line x sprayed in by my ford dealer(sent out to third party who did it) as part of what I negotiated in price.Got it for 250.00.Not bad.Never wouldve thought about neg the linex but my brother bought from same dealer prior to myself and told me thats what he did so I gave it a try and it worked.
Honestly, I know I'm probably going to get some hate here, but I've never been a huge fan of the spray in/roll on bedliners. I like to be able to change things up a bit, and I find stuff like a Dualiner a bit better for me. I've used Line-X before, I just didn't think it was worth the money, although it could have been an issue with the prep or something.
I've always had Rhino Lining in most of my trucks.......this time I bought the factory spray in....we'll see how it works.......I had a bed rug in a Toyota and liked it a lot, but didn't have a gooseneck or trailer hitch in that truck

We all have different jobs/needs/wants for our trucks so folks go with what works for them, shouldn't be any hate. I enjoy seeing everyone's opinions and experiences.
I have had the Bed Rug and loved it. I had LineX in my '11 Super Duty and going that way with the '15. My dealer throws in the LineX in on every Super Duty he sells. But better than that, he delivers new vehicles to my driveway with a dozen hand-made tamales. I like tamales.
I just had LineX sprayed in on Friday. It was $439 but if I wanted color other than black it would have been $300 more or $200 more for the premium black that won't fade. OUCH!! I went with basic black as it will be under a tonneau cover most of the time. They had my truck in and out in just over an hour, but I had to drive three hours to Odessa, Tx to get it.
Has anyone used a spray in Bed liner or the paint on kind? If so do you like them or dislike them? My truck has no bed liner and I was wondering if that is the best rout to go
I had mine done at the factory, so far no problems.
+1 for Line-X. I used to have the bed liner with a rubber mat under it and the paint still rubbed down underneath it. It was more dent resistant, but warped and let water in along the sides after a few years. The Line-X does much better and being a sealed up product and lifetime warranty helps. $400 for an 8' bed in Portland, Or.
