Installed a set of pacesetter long tubes in 93 f-250 4wd 5.8/c-6 s/cab this past week end. Guess what header collector and ft diff yoke don't like each other, ting, ting. What height should be between top of ft diff axles above springs and frame ? Suspect weak ft springs. Wasn't really looking to do the spring thing at this time. Any easy way out at this time?
Thanks JMDMT
I would say straight up fresh alignment and all was good. Is there a spec that would be given to determine week springs? something that a body shop might use to check for damage or something out of align? Right at this time I 'm not very happy w pacesetters.
I could use heat and modify the collector in question, I had to remove a small ear off the bell housing by the starter on passenger side to clear that collector.
